Why is it we often forget about the troubles when we are not having any? We arrived home from Guam on July 4. On the 15th my sister-in-law, Donna, was in an 11 hours surgery at Stanford Medical Hospital at Stanford University. She is progressing well, some downs, but mostly ups. She had 65% of her liver removed due to a tumor, as well as surgery for female problems. Please pray for her recovery and health. She covets your prayers.
Last night we had the Plaxtons over for dinner. It was good to see them again. They have been so gracious to us this year. We stayed in their house and used their car while we were in Guam. We now know why they felt compelled to return to Guam after their first visit 4 years ago. Armin and I have the same feelings.
